                                OFFICIAL CALL TO CONVENTION

In conformity with the North Carolina State Republican Party’s Plan of Organization, the Dare County Republican Party will hold its annual Dare County Republican Party Convention.

The convention will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025, in Manteo, North Carolina, at The Virginia Tillett Community Center, 950 Marshall C. Collins Drive.

Coffee and registration will begin at 9:00 am. The convention will gavel in at 10:00 am.

The purpose of this year’s convention is to identify and register delegates to the district and state Republican conventions, and to elect Dare GOP county party officials.

Precinct Meetings, scheduled prior to the convention will be held as follows:

• Southern Beach Precinct Meeting - Avon, Buxton, Frisco, Hatteras, and Chicamacomico, Saturday, February 8, 2025, at the Avon Fire House, 40159 Harbor Rd.,, Avon. Registration starts at 9 am; meeting starts at 10 am.
• Northern Beach Precinct Meeting - Duck, Southern Shores, Kitty Hawk, Kill Devil Hills, Colington, Nags Head, Manteo, Wanchese, Manns Harbor, Stumpy Point, East Lake, Saturday, February 15, 2025, 295 Old School House Rd., Wanchese. Registration starts at 9 am; meeting starts at 10 am.

If you are a registered Republican as of 1/31/2025, cannot attend your precinct meeting, but want to be a delegate to the County, District and or State conventions, please send a letter of intent to daregopsec@gmail, simply stating that you wish to be a delegate to the Dare County Republican Convention.

You must be signed in and registered by 10 am to be eligible to be a delegate. 

There is no charge to attend the County Convention.

All registered Republicans are welcome to join us at this event.
