Join us for the January Dare GOP Meeting on Thursday, January 8, at Nags Head Town Hall, 5401 S. Croatan Highway (Board Room).

This month’s meeting will feature a Candidate Forum for Dare County Sheriffin place of a guest speaker. After a brief business meeting, we will turn the dais over to the candidates.

All sheriff candidates have been invited to share their vision and answer your questions. Attendees will have the opportunity to submit questions for the candidates, making this an interactive and informative evening.
 

With the primary election right around the corner, this is your chance to hear from the candidates, compare their positions, and make an informed decision.

NORTH CAROLINA STATE REPUBLICAN PLAN OF ORGANIZATION

ARTICLE I - MEMBERSHIP

All citizens of North Carolina who are registered Republicans are members of the Republican Party of North Carolina and shall have the right to participate in the official affairs of the Republican Party in accordance with these rules. All reference herein to Delegates, Alternates, officers and members shall, inall cases, mean persons registered with the Republican Party in the precinct of their residence. Any person running for Party office within the North Carolina Republican Party, at any level, shall be a resident of the jurisdiction in which he seeks office. In the event a candidate for public office was not a registered Republican as of January 31 of the year prior to the election in which that candidate seeks election, the Executive Committee of the jurisdiction may disqualify such candidate from recognition, endorsement, and the utilization of Party resources.

 

The second forum will feature the Dare County Board of Commissioners candidates and will be held on Thursday, January 15, at 6:00 p.m. at Nags Head Town Hall.

The third and final forum will be for the Dare County Board of Education candidates, taking place on Thursday, January 22, at 6:00 p.m., also at Nags Head Town Hall.

Dare County conservative voters, this is your opportunity to hear directly from the candidates—in their own words—why they deserve your vote. You will learn where they stand on the issues that matter most and hear their vision and plans for the future of our county.

These forums are open to registered Republicans and Unaffiliated voters.
