Dare County Precinct Meetings

The dates have been set for the county precinct meetings.

There will be two meetings for the 16 voting precincts.

The “Northern Beach” Precinct Meeting will be held on Saturday, February 15, at the Colington Fire House. The meeting will begin at 10:00 am. The precincts included in this meeting are Duck, Southern Shores, Kitty Hawk, Kill Devil Hills, Colington, Nags Head, Manteo, Manns Harbour, East Lake, Stumpy Point and Wanchese.

The “Southern Beach” Precinct Meeting will also be held on Saturday, February 15, at the Buxton Fire House. The meeting will begin at 2:00 pm. The precincts included in this meeting are Avon, Chicamacomico, Buxton, Frisco, and Hatteras.

If you cannot attend your precinct meeting, send an email, either to your precinct chair, or the Dare County Credentials Committee at [email protected] stating that you want to be a county convention delegate. All requests to be a delegate must be received before the precinct meetings. NO delegates will be allowed after the precinct meetings have adjourned.

All primary candidates are invited to come and speak to the attendees.

This is where the delegate process starts. If you want a voice at the county convention, the district and state convention, you must attend one of these precinct meetings. To become Dare County Delegate, you must be registered Republican in Dare County no later than January 31, 2020.

This is where grassroots activism begins. We hope to see you. This is 2020 and our job - your job - is to work to get Republicans elected - in Dare, in our District, in our great state, and, of course, GET PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP RE-ELECTED.
